Very nice hotel !The bed is confortable and the room is very quiet.There is a vending machine with all the basic necessities and snacksBreakfast is also great, did not try the restaurant for lunch and dinner.The only bad side is how far the rooms are from the main entrance you need to walk a lot and take stairs it’s not the most convenient

Lovely hotel with nice garden. We had a great dinner on a terrace with the view. Great value for money, good size portions, fast and kind service from young staff. Was really surprised to read negative reviews on food and service! We absolutely loved it!

Very nice Hotel. Definitely superior for a 3 Star hotel. Very friendly staff, nice big clean room and great breakfast, will definately come back. TV was not working upon arrival but was fixed within 5 minutes. Online ordering app didn't work but staff found a work around for that too. Can only recommend this Hotel. Beautiful location and surroundings as well. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room is dark and sound proof the breakfast is great and the pillows are amazing they should sell them. I would like to see a minibar in the room and a phone for calls to reception maybe to Improvement.other than that 5 stars for cleanness.

I stayed in a room with a small salon together and a direct exit for a ground floor balcony. Perfect arrangement! The style of the room was beautiful, designed in a very good taste! The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean! The furniture in the room was exactly what is needed to get relaxed and refreshed after a long working day! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was very nice too! Altogether my stay was very pleasant and I just can give my warm recommendation.

We had a very horrible experience with the terrace experience at the hotel restaurant. We ordered the food at 1545 and the order just came at 1750 which took longer than 2 hours for simple dinner meal. We have asked more than 3 times for the follow-up of the order and the waiter told us they are checking with the kitchen and never came back with the update. Only the last waiter was able to tell us that the kitchen was chaotic and a lot of orders went wrong and apologized that our order was coming.More can be expected at the hotel restaurant with their 5 star service but this was definitely the below 1 star service they could provide. If they knew the customers were waiting for a long time with their orders, they could do everything to keep us informed on what is happening than to let all the customers wait for longer than 2 hours for their food.The hotel room was okay and the fact that it was not fancy at all for comfort room which was suitable for customers with dog. The shower was a bit dangerous as the water can splash directly at the electronic outlet.There were enough parking spaces and the hotel was really good outside the Venlo city surrounded by nature. We are happy with the location of the hotel. Also, the hotel breakfast was well arranged to prepare each guests' breakfast in a bag with their wished menu and we just had to pick them up in the morning.

I stay at this hotel every time I’m driving to and from UK.It’s one of my favorite hotels in Europe! Very friendly reception, beautiful spacious clean rooms.Restaurant - the view (especially in spring/summer) is amazing! Chicken satay is my number 1, but everything else is also spot on! Staff is really positive, everyone speaks English. When I’m staying at Maashof I never go out to eat elsewhere!Unluckily this hotel was fully booked during one of my recent trips to UK and I decided to stay at Valuas - it was terrible experience in comparison with Maashof :(

I’m degreed in hotel management so have worked in many and was quite disappointed about the mentioned things and will not return nor recommend it to friends or family.
